​Hi everyone, thought I would write this before I measure up. I started training with Jason because my sister said I was getting fat. But there is more to me than that. I am the mother of two, I work at a nursing home and I also suffer depression. I wanted to write this for my blog because even without the toning up and weight loss Jason has helped my with so much more. I used to sleep my days away and eat myself through the stressful times. I started with Jason too appease my sister and also to try and help myself. Fat isn't what I wanted to be. 
I thought Jason might be on some mission to kill me after the first training session. But I was wrong. I actually got better at the running, squats (grrr) and the other exercises were always different and each session became fun and for me I had less to winge about. And (I wouldn't tell Jason) but looked forward to them, I was achieving something great. 
Anyway, the 7 weeks flew and what I really wanted to say is that I feel great and I look great but for myself, my mind is in a much better place. I don't sleep all day, I find other ways to satisfy myself other than food, ie WALK, RIDE even do a home made session with what I have been taught. 
Jason was tough but fair and we all know sometimes you need to be pushed. I am so appreciative of what Jason has done. I know I did it, but to have someone make such a big difference in your life and make you feel as good as I do is unreal, especially when your days can be so dark.
Jason gave me something to look forward to, something for me.

I met Jason Bayliss when he was studying for his Diploma of Fitness at Southbank Institute.  Part of his Diploma was to undertake and tailor a fitness program for an individual client. At the first meeting I noticed how well organised, polite and professional Jason was. This proficiency and expertise continued for the duration of the four month program. Communication and punctuality were always of a high standard. Jason was in regular contact and we discussed progress at each session. Throughout the program I felt that Jason took a personal interest in my progress and fitness, he was also very sympathetic of my needs. Jason was also able to draw out the last bit of energy each session without over doing it. Training sessions were appropriate and adjusted as required; there was a wide range of carefully thought out exercises, which were well explained and demonstrated. Jason was very patient, genuine, careful and motivated. Realistic goals were set at the start and he constantly encouraged me towards those goals. He tailored a weight loss and nutrition plan specific to my needs and discussed this with me at each session.

I have been a member of almost every local gym in the Jimboomba area over the last 19 years, but since starting training at Seek Fitness year an half ago, my fitness level and self esteem have never been so good. I started with Personal Training to increase my fitness and strength. Now I am running, riding and lifting weights I never thought possible – and loving it! Since starting at Seek, training is not boring any more.  I have managed to lose weight, stay at my goal weight and feel good about fitness.
There is a great atmosphere at Seek Fitness; it has a warm personal feel – a family atmosphere, where everyone is friendly and there is lots of laughter – especially at the Group Sessions and at Boot camp! Three of my sons have joined in with me.

As a Mum, it is so great to see your children out enjoying fitness with a happy, fun group of people – all different ages and fitness levels - all making fitness their way of life - together. My teenage sons, husband and I all train with Seek.  We all take part in the Boot Camp sessions and the Training Session’s – while I absolutely love the group sessions during the week. I thank Seek Fitness for guiding my family’s awareness of how important being fit and healthy is. I pay particular reference to the impact Seek Fitness, and especially Jason Bayliss, has had on my teenage boys; who always need healthy male role models to follow.
I can see a long lasting friendship with Seek Fitness and I am very grateful for the difference it has made to my life.

I have been training with Jason for about 12 months. Prior to this he had been coaching tennis to my children. I was looking to improve my fitness and started seeing via Facebook what remarkable results he was achieving with some of his clients. At the time, I was training to participate in the Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge (a 96km run/trek through the hinterland mountains).
A few months before I started with Jason I had been having pain in one of my knees.  At that point, most of my training involved road running and mountain hiking.  I had seen two different physiotherapists, both were having difficulty diagnosing the problem and it was looking like I may have to withdraw from the event.
At my initial assessment, Jason advised me that my ‘quads’ were weak so my knee was not getting the support it needed.  I was stunned by this as I was running about 20-25kms a week on the road and hiking for hours in the mountains on the weekends.
After working with Jason for six weeks, focussing on these muscles, my knee healed and I completed the 96km without any knee pain.
Throughout the time that I have trained with Jason I have been really impressed with his professionalism and knowledge (and tolerance of dumb questions). It is fairly intense in a private session and he is always very respectful, mature and personable.  He makes the hard work more fun and his constant encouragement makes me push myself harder than I often think possible.
He regularly undertakes assessments to ensure that the program he has devised is working. At these times we compare with previous results, reassess, and set new goals.
Jason has always been reliable, punctual and flexible. There are times when I have needed to bring my children or change venue and he has been willing to accomodate.
I always look forward to our training sessions and highly recommend Seek Fitness.

I was overweight, unfit and unhappy about it.  I had the desire to change that, but lacked the knowledge of how to get the best results.  Since I have joined Seek Fitness I am now 24 kg’s lighter. I am fitter, stronger and more comfortable than I have ever been. Seek Fitness is fun, challenging and best of all gets results.  In 5 months I have never had the same session twice which keeps me motivated and interested. With the support and encouragement from the ‘Seek’s team’ I have been amazed of what my body and mind is capable of.
